First Presbyterian Church - Boulder, CO

The north panel of the First Presbyterian Church in Boulder, Colorado, features an eight-foot diameter rose window. Significant rot on the sill of the rose window necessitated its removal and dutchman repairs as part of a larger project. The project involves the full restoration, painting, and installation of a new tempered glass protective system for these decorative stained glass panels.

Our Commitment to Historical Preservation

This photo illustrates our steadfast commitment to preserving the historical integrity of all projects we undertake. Our approach is fundamentally aligned with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.

These guidelines protect a property's historic character while allowing for necessary alterations and additions for a compatible new use. By prioritizing the use of original material, we not only preserve the ability to decipher the construction techniques and craftsmanship used when the building was originally erected, but also provide a clear and invaluable record of repair timelines for future preservation efforts. This methodology ensures that the distinct features and inherent historical significance of a property are maintained for generations to come.
